Inspired by the height of summer, interior designer Haley Yarbrough transformed her home and studio into a calming retreat with powder blues, soft greens, and earthy neutrals. Seeking a serene backdrop for her creative work, she chose Iveta Abolina’s striped wallpaper in warm brown and cream tones, then layered in chinoiserie drapery, a feather-print bench, powder blue chairs, and cowboy artwork for subtle color and character. ”As a designer, I’m always drawn to materials that bring character and individuality to a space, and Spoonflower offers such a beautiful opportunity for that. For this project, I was inspired by the idea that a thoughtfully chosen print can completely shift the mood of a room—adding warmth, charm, and a distinct point of view. Pattern is such an important storytelling element in design, and Spoonflower makes that feel both creative and approachable.”

Haley Yarbrough is the founder and principal designer of Haley Yarbrough Interiors, a full-service residential design studio based in Georgia. Haley brings an innate love for Southern charm, timeless design, and purposeful living into every project she undertakes. She spent eight years under the mentorship of renowned designer and author James Farmer, where she contributed to high-end residential projects from Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard to Mississippi, Florida, and Connecticut. It was here that her own design philosophy took root—one that honors tradition while embracing comfort, personality, and fresh perspective. Haley's signature aesthetic blends traditional silhouettes with a fresh eye for textiles, color, and composition—resulting in interiors that feel both refined and relaxed. Whether she’s pairing bold prints with intention or sourcing heirloom-worthy pieces, Haley approaches each project with intention, warmth, and an intuitive sense of home.
